The Rondo secret room key is a Security Keycard rather than a conventional key, collected from a marked spawn and used on the security door. Because Rondo uses keycards from known spawns rather than a pure random drop, the route can be planned before the plane rather than improvised after landing.

What is inside a secret room on Rondo

Secret rooms hold loot that would otherwise take a care package: level three armour, high-tier rifles and the attachments that go with them. Treat the room as the objective, not the detour — a full clear is usually worth more than two compounds of floor loot. On Rondo the deciding factor is rarely the loot itself but whether you can hold the ground around the door long enough to carry it out.

Strategy on Rondo

Rondo pairs keycard security doors with in-room safes, so a single successful entry can carry more than any other map on the list. Doors stay open once unlocked, so the room announces itself to anyone nearby. Clear the compound before you open anything, keep one player watching the entrance, and plan an exit that is not the door you came in through.

Most of Rondo's rooms sit north of the map, so a drop on that side puts several within one rotation. All 15 are standard secret rooms opened the same way.
